What does your family tree look like?

Researching your family history has become increasingly popular.  This has inevitably meant that clergy get involved in searching through registers, and this can be very time-consuming.  For this reason, the Church of England has issued guidelines for charges.  These are:

• For searching in church registers (marriage, baptism and burial) £31 per hour and for each subsequent part of an hour
• For copies of entries in registers, the charge is £15 per copy
