Accessibility
We believe that our church is only complete when everyone is welcome, we will do our best to accommodate any needs you have.
The Revd Katie Tupling reflects on Psalm 139, Ability Sunday, and her own faith and disability.
St John’s is a modern church building with an entrance ramp, automatically opening doors, aisles that are wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair and there are no steps to negotiate.
There is an accessible loo.
Large print service booklets are available on request; please let us know in advance. Most of our services have screens with words for songs/liturgy projected on to them, or you can ask for one of our Mission Praise song books if you prefer.
A hearing loop is available; please ask for more details.
If you have additional needs, if you are neurodiverse, you may wish to visit the church before attending a service. We would be happy to meet you and show you around and answer any questions you may have. We can provide support during the service according to your needs.
We will always endeavour to meet any other accessibility needs you may have, please contact us to discuss how we may help you.
