14 November: Men’s Breakfast (8.00am for 8.30am)
15 November: Patronal Evensong @ St Britius (4.00pm) with St Mary’s Bampton choir
21 November: St John’s Christmas Fayre: We are now collecting items for the Fayre –
items for the Tombola and nearly new items for the White Elephant stall. Also second
hand books. We’re looking for items in good order, not jumble or clothes/ shoes.
Inspire will be looking for donations of toiletries for their lucky dip and sweets for their
kiddies’ sweetie prize drawer. Boxes will be left out in the hall for all the donations.
Thank you in advance and please start spreading the word. Our publicity is being
ramped up from here onwards. Display a poster in your window. Linda Cox
22 November: In Song & Praise We Heal (4.00pm)
28 November: Christmas Street Fayre from 2.00pm. Please support our Sweet Tooth
Tombola stall. Visit Open Church from 6.00pm, following the switch-on of the town’s
Christmas lights, for a hot drink and kids’ craft activity.
Thursday 5 November St Britius will be serving homemade soup and hotdogs to raise
funds at the village bonfire. Food will be served from 5.30pm with the bonfire lit at
6pm – weather permitting.
