World Day of Prayer – 5 March 2021

The World Day of Prayer this year is on Friday 5th March 2021 and the service has been put together by the Christian women of Vanuatu.  The local service for Carterton and Brize Norton is being pre-recorded and will be available here on our website (Online Services page) at the appropriate time and via the Church Facebook page(click on the link in the right hand column).  The service will be available for up to n weeks afterwards. Giving envelopes are provided in the booklets (which can be posted into the black box at St John’s church, on the Rectory fence) and these are inside the booklets that have been given out within the parish. Alternatively there is opportunity to give to the work of the WDP via their website (www.wwdp.org.uk) or a TEXT Message to 70085 using the phrase 2021WDP followed by the donation amount (e.g. 2021WDP 10).

This interdenominational service gives us an opportunity to join with others in prayer around the world and gives us an insight into the lives of Christian women in Vanuatu. You are encouraged to click on the link and join in with the service. There are reading/singing contributions from St Britius, St Josephs, Carterton Methodist Church and St John’s Church Carterton. “
