A Thanksgiving service for Revd Roy Turner
We are very sad to announce the death on 2nd August of the Revd Roy Turner, former Team Vicar of St John’s and St Britius’ Churches, after a short illness. Please hold Bev and the whole family in your prayers at this difficult time.
A Thanksgiving service will be held at St Laurence’s Church, Combe Longa, OX29 8NQ on Tuesday 16th August at 2pm, followed by refreshments at the Duke of Marlborough, just north of Woodstock, OX20 1HT.
Hello: I came across this message by accident but was very sad to hear of Roy’s death. My wife, Pam, and I were friends of Roy and Bev some years ago in Nottinghamshire. I would be very grateful if you would be able to pass on our love and assurance of our prayers to Bev and the family. We will be praying for them.
