We are restricted because of the Coronavirus, but usually:
In alternate months we run breakfasts for both ladies (2nd Saturday) and men (3rd Saturday). These are a great opportunity to get to know others, enjoy an excellent breakfast and listen to a speaker.
One Saturday in the other month, when we don’t hold the above breakfasts, there is a breakfast the whole church family can attend. See our newsletter for the dates for all these fellowship breakfasts.
S.T.I.G. (boys and their toys!)
These occasional Friday night meet-ups are slot car racing sessions with themed food.
The S.T.I.G. (Scalextric Track and Indian Grub) nights are for men of all ages over 16yrs and feature our own Scalextric track built to theme specific Grand Prix circuits. An opportunity to relax and chat as well as the competitive fun of racing (and keeping the stewards on-side). Good company and a curry, starts at 7.00pm.
Knit & Natter
Knit, crochet, natter! It’s informal and fun, come and learn or just enjoy sharing your knitting, your crochet or just your company with others over a cuppa and a biscuit. It’s held in Carterton Town Hall on Friday (5.00 – 6.30pm). You don’t have to come every week, or stay for all of it, that’s up to you. It’s free, but we do ask for a donation towards refreshments. The Carterton Library has lots of books on craft which can be borrowed for free if you need some inspiration/ideas.
